ICRTouch can offer Apple Pay through the Sage Pay EFT solution

14th July 2015 marks the UK release of Apple's latest innovation, Apple Pay. In line with the current trend of secure contactless payment technologies through mobile devices, ICRTouch can offer Apple Pay through their industry-leading TouchPoint EPoS system when accompanied by a SagePay EFT account..

When you want to complete a sale from the TouchPoint till, the sale amount is sent through to the Sage Pay terminal ready for payment. The customer simply hovers their Apple device over the payment terminal and provide their fingerprint authorisation to create a quick, PIN-less transaction. Stay ahead of the game by being an early adopter of this easy-to-use technology and provide payments with a simple touch

Sage Pay contactless payment technology is accredited with most major merchant account providers. To order, simply contact your local ICRTouch reseller who will help you through the order process and confirm any prerequisites you need in place to start accepting credit card and contactless payments.

Sage Pay are a valued payment partner of ICRTouch, Sage Pay is the UKI's leading independent payment service provider and is one of the most trusted payment brands. Every year Sage Pay processes billions of pounds worth of secure payments for its 50,000+ customers.

Sage Pay has revealed an integration with Apple Pay following confirmation by Tim Cook during the keynote for the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) that the service will be coming to the UK 14th July 2015.

While it’s been almost a year since the service was launched in the US, Sage Pay’s Innovation Team has been conducting Beta testing in the last month to ensure all of its card terminals can accept Apple Pay transactions when it makes its way across the Atlantic.

“The coming of Apple Pay to the UK is just one part of the macro shift we’re seeing to cashless payments types,” said Sean Wilson, Managing Director of Sage Pay UK. “Although consumer demand for it hasn’t yet reached the heights usually associated with new Apple products, businesses need to be ready to offer them the choice and convenience of paying their way to avoid missing out on potential sales. That’s why our Innovation Team has been working tirelessly to make sure all of our customers can do exactly that come July.”
