Paultons Park approached SBS EPOS, a local company back in the last quarter of 2010 with the requirement to install a new EPOS and stock management solution into its newest project, Peppa Pig World. As this was the first EPOS system to be installed within Paultons Park to manage both Retail and Catering outlets the system had to offer scalability with the long term aim of rolling out the system park wide and throughout any future projects Paultons would implement.
The solution was to install ICRTouch TouchPoint software on FEC MegaPOS Terminals to handle point of sale operation with TouchOffice Enterprise supporting the back end reporting and stock management. With the integration of card processing (in partnership with YesPay International) the aim was to heavily reduce manual and administrative tasks from day one, whilst offering a wealth of business critical information.
After the successful first installations within Retail and Catering, over the coming months further outlets became part of the roll out process to a point where we now handle 35 EPOS terminals across 17 outlets, covering both Retail and Hospitality.
Once the system became part of the backbone to park operations it became apparent that both their season ticket system and Sage 200 system would require integration in order to offer a complete solution.
In order to create a bridge between EPOS and Paultons Season Ticket system we implemented TouchLoyalty to handle validation of season tickets at point of sale, provided certain criteria was met on the season ticket account, whilst passing back spend analysis on completion of each sale.
As the system was now rolled out across 17 outlets, 4 of which being Retail, including the famous Peppa Pig World it became a requirement for TouchOffice Enterprise to integrate with Sage 200 for purchase ordering. The requirement was for TouchOffice Enterprise to handle stock levels and purchase orders whilst daily exporting data to Sage 200 for reconciliation and payment to suppliers.
