We have now filled the positions of Office Assitant and Software Support Technician. We are still looking for software developers and would also welcome CVs from anyone who feels that they have the right qualities to begin a career with ICRTouch. We are especially keen to hear from anyone who already has experience in the technical support of EPoS Systems.
Update 18th April 2012
We have received more than 200 applications for the role of Office Assistant and as a result cannot accept any more applications for this role. For those that have already applied, with such a high number, we are expecting it to take approximately 2 weeks to evaluate individual applications and to make decisions on arranging interviews.
We have had a good number of high quality applications for the position of Support Technician and have already begun the interview process with a select number of key candidates. We will however still accept any further applications that may be put forward for consideration if we feel that they meet certain criterea.
We still seek more applicants for the position of software developer and would also take consideration of individuals with proven development experience in a desktop environment especially in C++ and Java.

As the result of an excellent 2011 and an encouraging first quarter to 2012 we are now looking to expand our team and have the following job vacancies open.
Software Support Technician
Our technical support staff represent the back bone of our company. The role is both varied and exciting not knowing what new challenges you will be facing with each new day. You will be dealing directly with ICRTouch resellers rather than end users, this means that you will be talking to technical people on a technical level with whom you will share a common interest; this makes the role of being a customer support representative for ICRTouch an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
Your position will cover a more varied range of tasks than simply being tied to a phone or remote support PC and as a result many of your other duties will include: testing new software products and components, customer training, hardware testing and evaluation, creating technical manuals and training videos.
Previous experience of EPoS equipment is not necessary but would be an advantage, however, a keen interest in anything technical is a must! All required training will be delivered in house.
Office Assistant
We are looking for a dynamic individual with good customer service skills, polite telephone manner and good organisational skills. Good computer skills are essential for this role.
Your primary focus will be as a first point of contact for our customers both through incoming phone calls and outgoing calls made by yourself to ensure that we maintain good customer relations. Many of your other duties will include; General office work, processing of orders, goods in and goods out and possibly some accounts duties if you already have some experience in that line or have a desire to learn.
Software Developer
We’re hungry for an experienced mobile app developer to join our team!
ICRTouch products have always been developed to run on Windows based platforms; Touch EPoS hardware which are effectively PCs under the hood and also various software applications designed to run in the office or home. But, we have loads of cool ideas for mobile apps that we think will interface nicely with our till systems that we’d like to implement but lack the required skill set :( this could be where you come in to save the day :)
Ideally we’re looking for someone with great talent and flare with a proven track record in developing mobile apps for both Android and iOS. Experience in developing desktop and web application especially using C++ and php would also be an advantage. If you also have experience in electronics design and software for micro-controllers then this would likely make you a person of great interest to us.
Above all else, we’re looking for someone who is as passionate about building great software as we are and who doesn’t think that being a software developer is a 9-5 job! We’d like to work with someone with initiative and an opinion who doesn’t wish to blindly follow the specification but more importantly open to looking at new ways that things can be done to further enhance the experience of the user.
